Ep 19: What Would You Do If Your Child Got A Rare Disease?
This episode is all about helping this momma get through a very difficult time in her and her family's life right now.
This whole hour will be focused on Kathure’s family and her daughter, little Beautiful Ayah. Last November, Ayah got diagnosed with SMA which stands for Spinal Muscular Atrophy. SMA is a very rare disease and 1 out 10.000 children get diagnosed with this disease every year. It is so rare that Denmark has not approved the treatment for it since they only get 2 cases every year. Kathure has to go outside Denmark to get the treatment for a gene replacement therapy called Zolgensma, which will cost them 2million USD out of pocket.
Ep 18: From Making Danes Laugh To Changing Diapers In Denmark
In this episode, we will be talking to a dad who made his way into Denmark and is famous for making people laugh with his jokes about the danish language and some of the odd traditions that we all question. I am so happy that he wanted to be on this radio show and podcast to talk about his experience being an international dad and his success as an English comedian in Denmark. If you live in Denmark, you might have seen him on TV 2 because he has been on there a couple of times.
EP 17: Living The International Life with Michelle Hodge Anderson
For some people, living abroad is their way of life and it is what makes life exciting. Whether it is in the Middle East or somewhere in China, living in different parts of the world is where some families thrive. The family gets to experience different cultures and languages while raising their own kids.
Today's guest is someone that left the US and never really returned. Michelle Hodge Anderson is an American Expat who moved abroad to teach English in Korea. From there she saw the world and never returned home to the US.
