EP 16: Discovering Denmark With Niceno Larsen
On today’s episode we will be talking about what to do during these long winter days in Denmark. To me the hardest months to be in Denmark is in January-March because it is cold, windy and dark. Also, especially during these corona times where most of the places are closed and locked down. You can’t even meet with friends and have lunch AND all children's places are closed too. What can we do to keep sane during this long dreadful winter especially with the corona times? Today I have a blogger that is writing, filming and taking pictures of all her fun adventures with her kids. She has been living in Denmark for over 10 years. We will be talking about how she ended up in Denmark and about her fabulous blog Discover Denmark Diary. Plus, tips on what you can discover in Denmark.
Ep 15: An International Dad Living in Denmark
A dad’s perspective and experiences are so different so I want to learn more about other dad’s living abroad and what they have to go through. For example: How it is getting a job, Finding friends, Learning the language, Being an international dad, Finding their interest besides family And much more…
EP 14: Raising Awareness of Autism While Living Abroad
On Today’s episode, I have Therese Christensen, an international mom from the Philippines. Her husband is danish/filippino and they have 1 son together, named Fredrik. They are living in Denmark AND Frederik has Autism.
We will be discussing with Therese about her life in Denmark with her family, and raising her son with Autism. She also wrote a children’s book along with her son that can build awareness for other parents and people out in the world.
Ep 13: The Stress Of Being An International Parent
In today’s episode we are going to talk about how stressing being an international parent can be. We try to speak the language, adapt to the way of life and raise our kids in a completely different world then we grew up in. We also have the pressure of trying to keep it all together in front of our kids.
Ep 12:Adapting To Denmark During The Pandemic
On Today’s episode, we will be talking about how some internationals have to change their life when moving abroad. Many International spouse’s don’t get enough credit for moving their life to a new country. They are leaving their life behind, so their other half can follow their dream jobs. I talk to so many internationals that had to give up their career or business behind in their home country and literally start over in Denmark. It takes courage to start over and move abroad, but many spouses living abroad support their partners so they take the leap of faith to the unknown.
